Properties:

Its solution is alkaline. If add strong acids, weak acids and even electrolytes, it will hydrolyze and precipitate silica when it is heated or at room temperature.

Application:

1. Used as raw materials for the production of silica gel, silica, zeolite molecular sieve, silica sol, etc.
2. It is the raw materials and additives for the production of detergents and soaps, water softeners and settling agents.
3. In the textile industry, it is used as dyeing auxiliaries, bleaching agents, etc.
4. In the mechanical industry, it is widely used in grinding, making grinding wheels and as a metal protective agent.
