Description:

 
Sodium tripolyphosphate 94% is a white powder with a melting point of 622 ºC. Easy to dissolve in water, it has significant chelating ability for metal ions such as calcium and magnesium. It can soften hard water and turn the suspension into a solution. It is weakly alkaline and non corrosive. It is an inorganic surfactant that has a strong emulsifying effect on lubricating oils and fats. Five sodium has two crystal forms: Type I (high-temperature type) and Type II (low-temperature type), both of which have the same chemical properties. The difference lies in the higher thermal stability and hygroscopicity of Type I compared to Type II, and their solubility and hydration heat during dissolution are also different.
