Maleic Anhydride 99.5% is colorless or white solid with a pungent odor. Relative density:1.48, M.P.:52.8ºC, B.P.:202.2ºC. Under lower temperature (60-80ºC), it can sublimate, soluble in ethanol, ether and acetone, can react with water to produce maleic acid, combustible. If its vapor is mixed with powder dust and air, it may form exploded mixture.

Application:
Manufacture of unsaturated polyester resin, alkyd resin, insulated paint, plasticizer, maleic acid and tartaric acid, etc. It can be used antiseptic agent, also serve as the raw materials of medicine, pesticide, paint, glass steel and so on.
